Hoyt's HEROES     #welead

Mr. Hoyt graduated from Warren Central High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University.

 

This is Mr. Hoyt’s 25th year in Carmel Clay Schools.  Mr. Hoyt taught 5th grade at Smoky Row Elementary for four years before moving to Carmel Junior High School.  While at the junior high, Mr. Hoyt taught a year of 8th grade Math, Advance Math (Algebra 1), and Science before teaching three years of 6th grade Math, 7th grade Math, and 6th grade Language Arts.  This is Mr. Hoyt’s 17th year back at Smoky Row teaching 5th grade. 

 

Mr. Hoyt also coached high school football for 6 years at Lebanon High school, 8 years at Carmel High School, and 4 years at Noblesville High School.  He was the 8th grade baseball coach at Carmel Junior High for 2 years.

 

Mr. Hoyt and his wife Julie have four children: Jake, Chanie, Skylar, and Cydney.
